Step Stool

This step stool was my first furniture project in Tech 1 and marked the beginning of my exploration into furniture design and woodworking. Constructed from poplar, the stool combines India ink, bright orange spray paint, and a white wood stain to create a bold contrast between natural and painted finishes. The simple structure allowed me to focus on precision, material exploration, and understanding how different finishes can transform the character of a piece.
