Arcadia

This project challenged me to design a statement lounge chair for Moroso that embodied the brand's bold, expressive approach to contemporary furniture. Inspired by sculptural forms, vibrant color, and the idea of furniture as functional art, I developed Arcadia, a chair that blends flowing organic curves with an inviting, ergonomic silhouette. Throughout the design process, I explored numerous concepts through sketching, material studies, and physical prototyping before refining the final form. I then built a fully upholstered scale model and created high-quality renderings to bring the concept to life. The result is a playful yet sophisticated piece that celebrates craftsmanship, color, and sculptural design while creating a comfortable and memorable seating experience.
